Fix a broken cord?

Hi there,

I just bought a pong system today (a Unisonic but I would assume this repair applies to all consoles) but the cord that goes into the TV is cut (see image). What would be the best way to repair this? Find a new plug and solder it on or replace the wire?

 

I also attached a photo of the console side of the cord.

I'd just replace the whole cable. Looks like a garden variety RCA cable to me. It should pull right out of the console - it doesn't look soldered at all. I repaired a 2600 with a cut cable in exactly this fashion.
