bookpile
Ok, here's what's on my workbench for this afternoon. 1 working 7800 2 non working 7800's that do not power on. Any ideas where to start checking with the volt meter? I'm hoping to combine the two into one good one. Thanks

bookpile
Update- the power switch appears to be good, as it starts off at 5 and then cycles to 0 briefly when you push the button, and the same when you turn it off
+Mitch
Sounds like you might have a bad voltage regulator, try replacing it and see what happens. Mitch
