8bitclassics
Ok, I need a slogan for my (http://www.8bitclassics.com). I need something that goes with my site so please go to it and look around. Some people have purchased from me, so they already know it. I need something catchy and something fun. So please follow the rules carefully: 1. You may enter as many times as you want. 2. It needs to be related to my site / classic gaming in some way. 3. Have fun with it, but be polite! 4. Please post entries here, entries can be posted until Monday, June 13th by Noon CST. Sometime on Monday afternoon, I will setup a poll with the top 10 slogans that I like. Voting will last until Saturday, June 18th at Midnight. At which time we will see who the winning entry is by looking at the poll. The winner will receive a gift certificate of $25 from 8-Bit Classics for use on our site. Not much I know, but contest really isn't that hard. My next one will be more artistic! Here is one that my wife and I came up with just to start: "It's Time To Play With Your Joystick, Again!" Kind of naughty, but mostly referencing that they aren't called joysticks anymore. Corey
FireTiger
"Yo Ho Yo Ho 8-bit games for me" "Plug in the Fun" (Googled to check copyright infringe, none found but it sounds familiar) "Games to Go" "2-bits? 4-bits? 6-bits? 8! "Old Classics never looked so good" "Classics never die, they just need to be carefully cleaned" "Classics never die, they just don't connect like they used to." "Classics never die, they just get hacked into newer games" "Classics never die, they go to that big 8-bit in the sky." "A Classic is a terrible thing to waste" "Reuse 8-bit computers and arcade systems for a healthy (enviroment/ mind/ ect ((<-this word could change yearly)) ) " ((Sub slogans that overrite the normal one when someone picks a catagory)) "Wood you beleive thses Classic Games?" (Atari Slogan) "I can't Commodore on how great these Classic Games are." (Commodore Slogan) "These Classic games are the Apple of my eye." (cliche Apple Slogan) "I'll Sega Again, these are real Classics." (Sega Slogan) "Is it NEScessery to look at any other Classic game stores? uosipa llamxew
Commemmorating the pixel. Two cramped, blistered, numb and bleeding thumbs up! Taking pride in the only industry where less is more - more or less. Regard the pixel Recycle, resell, replay - because the new games suck! Don't feed me your polygon bullshit! In honor of the pixel. Fewer the bytes; less likely it'll bite. Happily bringing you something more for much less or you could try the more forward approach: Buy my stuff; I need money! Buy my games so I can buy more games! I guess I'm not so good at this. [edit] a couple of more [/edit] Sharing the classics, because cherished memories shouldn't be suppressed or hoarded. What's classic - stays classic... just my eight bits. Awakening your cherished memories, may they live again. Your old memories revived / your children's memories emerge Remembering what it means to be a gamer. 8bit classics If I wanted a movie, I'd have rented a movie! Gimme back that joystick! See what you missed the first time around! Edited June 13, 2005 by mojofltr

uosipa llamxew
One more I thought of on my way to work today: 8bit classics - putting the JOYstick back into gaming. Anyways, I thought the extra bold JOY would provide two meanings to the phrase (ie putting the joystick/retro feeling back into gaming as well as making gaming fun and "joy"ful again. ... Everyone at once, "Yah, mojo... we got it!" Edited June 13, 2005 by mojofltr
+Random Terrain
1. Let our black background rape your eyes. You know you like it. 2. Now with dark gray text on black for that migraine you never thought was possible. 3. If you thought our games were old, you ain't seen nothin' yet! Our JPGs have artifacts! Hey, give me a break, I just ate food that had MSG in it, so I'm extra pricky tonight. uosipa llamxew
Hey, give me a break, I just ate food that had MSG in it, so I'm extra pricky tonight. About once a week, I drive 20 miles (into the next city) out of the way to go to this really great Chinese restaurant that posts a "NO MSG" sign on the door . It's probably the best Chinese food that I've ever had. I always eat too much and leave with a giant smile on my face. Mmmmm! uosipa llamxew
Naw... if you have to put additives into your food to give it flavor, you are eating the wrong stuff. Vegetables, grains, and rice all have plenty of flavor when used correctly in a recipe. It's the wrong sort of additives that will make a dish taste bland... (ie add oregano to pasta). Give up or cut way down on your meat intake and you will realize that the smell alone, much less the taste, is enough to drive you away. I still eat a small amount of poultry and fish in my diet, but never cow; To me the smell of a beef roast in the oven is not unlike a fresh fart out of someone else's arse. Blech!
