+Allan
Since so many of the 7800 games use 2600 sounds and since it could use Pokey sounds. Wouldn't be possible to rip the 8-bit/5200 sounds and insert them into the 7800 games. Some 7800 games that could use their 5200/8-bit counter-part sounds are: Donkey Kong Donkey Kong Jr. Dig Dug Mario Bros. One-on-One Basketball Robotron: 2084 If you were going to do just one my vote would be Donkey Kong. Allan
Feralstorm
Interesting idea. In some cases (Like the Nintendo Game ports) I'd be happy just to see someone try to hack the audio to be less crapful, pokey chip or not.
+Allan
Another idea I just had is to add the High-Score-Cart feature to games that never had them. Allan
Shaggy the Atarian
*digging up an old thread I would love to see something like this happen. Especially now that I have a CC2 it would be great to have more games that include Pokey support beyond Commando and Ballblazer and a few of the recent homebrews. keilbaca
I have an idea for a hack. I know putting in code for a trackball for Centipede would be pushing the system too much, so why not the 7800 Centipede?
