Lan sci-fi party outside of Dallas, TX- USA

What was going to be a peaceful casual klingon raid of the Starship Pegasus for the Klingon "Good day to dine" is turning into a full blown battle as the USS Trinity River is flying in to defend the Pegasus, and challenges the IKV Melota and the Rogue Squadron to a fierce lan battle afterwards. A lan party... see the message that follows. There might be some USS Joshua involvement there, though uncertain, since they are schedule to arrive a few hours earlier.

 

Could be a very interesting event and lan party though.

As the STARFLEET representative of sector one for the 3rd fleet

which patrols this area with the Federation Vessel Starship Pegasus,

My crew and I cannot allow such a thing.

 

Am I sure that based on the peaceful treaties between our two

govermenments that we can come to a civilized and peacefull agreement.

 

My Crew would like to challenge your crew in defense of the Starship

pegasus until death or at least until dinner!

 

The Captain of the StarShip Pagasus, Andy Gee sends his warmest

regards with the following message "We welcome all of your membership

to join us in an electronic game LAND PARTY that evening into sunday

morning. Folks will bring their own hard drives, TV monitors, long

folding tables, multiple outlet cords and extension cords, and will

interconnect to routers so that people can compete against each other

in electronic games. Prizes will be given out to top scorers in

different games. We will start setting up for this LAND PARTY

beginning around 8:30 PM - 9PM that evening of July 30, and will go as

long as folks want to stay into sunday morning. We are hoping to have

more than 20+ folks interconnect their computers for this event."

That's interesting, but I see no, uhhhh... spatial coordinates, to... lock on my transporter. Yeah, that's the ticket.

 

I'm just guessing, but is it that dome along I-35E just south of the "caterpillar"?

It would've been cool if this was timed closer to the vgxpo... imagine how cool it would have been to have two shows on the same weekend, you could jump from one to the other, pretty cool....
