Zonie
Hey, The FB2 really needs it's own category like the 2600, 7800, jag, etc have. This used to be a nice little PONG category. It even used to be called PONG, etc.
Feralstorm
I could see a Flashback (1/2/3) sub-category formed here once enough are sold to gain a fair following. If this was made a PONG-machine only category, where do the pepole with other non cartridge/disk video games (Plug and Play TV game sticks) go? Judging ny the FB message density, I think we're already there. Plug-n-Play's could use it's own too, for that matter.
Feralstorm
The message density is because the FB2 is the flavor of the month. You'd see the same thing if another big/popular stand-alone showed up, be it arcadestick or Pong machine.
Lord Thag
But given that there's a cartridge-based FB3 coming out in the future, I think the FB will end up needing it's own forum at some point too. *seconds vote*
Flojomojo
I vote nay. The forums are fragmented enough already, "dedicated" is very descriptive. Once everyone has a FB2, traffic will slow down again.
scogey
I have to agree with Flojomojo...if you are only interested in one system, the subject line should guide you to the topic of your choice.
