The USB cart is much more than a few patched games. I think the usb cart adds true value to any xl/xe. Obviously the current usability is limited, as it is not very easy for end users to patch own games or to integrate it with existing office applications. However, I think the real strengthness of the cart is the fact that we now have an very easy way to equip a 25years old platform with a modern standardized interface which can easily be programmed. It's not all about joysticks, pads etc. It's more likely a replacement for the outdated rs232 serial iface which is also not a part of the original 8bit and has never been so easy to attach like the usb cart. \twh Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
