I wanted to thank everyone for five years of 7800 gaming fun and excitement! The domain name was first purchased in an ebay auction for $15 in September of 2000 with the intent of linking it to a small record label that a friend of mine was trying to start. Soon after the purchase, the potential of the domain name was realized and the rest is history. Atari7800.com has undergone many changes since it first went live on October 7th, 2000. On January 1st of this year we launched Atari7800.com's sister site, TurboGrafx-16.com which celebrates the extensive line of NEC's American PC Engine machines. Much has changed in the past five yers, we have met some wonderful people along the way, and we are now running the "Mark IV Website" as what is up now is the fourth generation site which has been on line since October of 2003 to celebrate the 7800's 20th anniversary. A modified new look and extensive new content will come to be in 2006, so keep an eye out for many new additions! If you click on the picture below you will see a screen shot of our very first placeholder from September of 2000. So much has changed since then. Thanks again for five great years! We all look forward to many more years of being a monument to one of the most beautiful and most overlooked game systems of all time.
