video game addict
Jerry G started Atari2600.com before he sold to Joe Cody. He's still around, but not online much these days. He has one hell of an Atari collection from what I hear. Even owns an Air Raid. I've seen this Dukes label before, but I don't recall the history of it. CPUWIZ
http://cgi.ebay.com/Atari-2600-game-DUKES-...3QQcmdZViewItem And who is Jerry G. from back in the day? 956706 It's a Best Electronics release, it has a real mask ROM inside. Not a fake!
ntavio
Another mention of Jerry G. http://cgi.ebay.com/ATARI-2600-HALLOWEEN-S...1QQcmdZViewItem I guess the man's a legend..............
MegaManFan
Amazingly this real mask ROM still hasn't sold yet despite the price and the seller's reputation. Either it's that bad label or everybody that wants it already has one (or plays it on z26).
ATARIPITBULL
Amazingly this real mask ROM still hasn't sold yet despite the price and the seller's reputation. Either it's that bad label or everybody that wants it already has one (or plays it on z26). 960533 Well what I was going to say is that "Real mask ROM" or not, is this not the same game like this one I got off of CPUWIZ for a lot less than $100.00 and like what was already said, you can down load this turd anyway. :!: Edited November 6, 2005 by ATARIPITBULL
froggger2
In December 1999, Atari2600.com (Jerry G) was selling a Dukes of Hazzard Atari prototype for $95 and one with a b & w added label for $125.
else
I'm always been confused how Coleco ended up releasing a Dukes of Hazzard game for the Colecovision. I mean, back in the day... Dukes of Hazzard = Warner Bros property, right? Warner Bros = Atari's owner, right? Seems like a natural the Dukes would end up as an exclusive on the Atari, not the Colecovision. Anybody have a theory on this?
ntavio
The mighty $$$$$$$$$$$ my friend.
else
Yea, I suppose. I just can't see say, Nintendo, licensing Mario to Sony or Microsoft. Then again, maybe that's why Nintendo is still in business and Atari isn't. A minor screwup in a long list of screwups....
Dino
It seems quite expensive for a home made label?? Is there anything else that is special about this cart? See this recent e-bay auction for a Hazzard proto cart that went for way less: Hazzard proto
