adams_ale
I can pay cash for anyone who can hack my Flashback 2 to have a cartridge port. Anyone up for the task? I also have a couple spare systems and games that could be traded for service. Thanks!! keilbaca
I suggest waiting until the Rev. C flashbacks get released in 2006, as those are... supposed... to be more compatible with carts. I thought it was fairly easy to hack the current FB2 system. I have no mechanical/electrical knowledge so I won't be able to hack the easiest of systems. I saw a hacked FB2 on Ebay that sold for 80 dollars recently, wish I would have caught that auction in time. Actually I am waiting for the rev. c before I do mine & then jetset but I think he wants his done now but I am making him wait until I do mine first. If he doesnt get a c after I do mine then I will do his second & so on. I just want to do mine first eventually I will hack my rev.b Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/78917-cash-paid-for-a-hack/#findComment-962435 Share on other sites
adams_ale
I'm impatient so it will be hard to wait for next year's release. Target is just now releasing the Flashback 2 in my area. :!: How long will it be before the next version is released? Depending on sales the next Flashback might not make it around here. Trade-N-Games
I dont want this to sound bad, but why not just use a regular Atari system to play the games? video game addict
Yeah I don't understand the big deal with hacking a FB2 I want to get one eventually for the hacks & homebrews on it, but it's not that important to me right now. Where are people placing the cart port at? it didn't even look like there was room for it on there. I bring my Atari to friends homes sometimes and it's not always compatible with their t..v.'s. For instance I can't hook up my Atari to my friends big screen t.v., but with the composite video I will be able to. Also, it's just a really nifty idea to be able to play old games on this new system. Shawn
I saw a hacked FB2 on Ebay that sold for 80 dollars recently, wish I would have caught that auction in time. 962433[/snapback] So if I hack a FB2 you'll give me $80 USD for it? If so you got a deal as soon as my city gets them in. PM me if you want. +remowilliams
I'd definitely pay for some quality hack work on a rev3 FB2 if it turns out to be real compatible. I just don't have the time for that stuff these days Quote Link to comment https://forums.atariage.com/topic/78917-cash-paid-for-a-hack/#findComment-963610 Share on other sites
adams_ale
How easy would it be to put LED lights in my Flashback 2 or Heavy Sixer? I would pay decent dough for that. I have several people who have stated that they can possibly do a hack for me in the future, but no one can do it at this time. Guess I have no choice, but to be patient and see who can do it the soonest.
