www.atarimania.com
Wasn't there a rumor that Turrican was to be converted but actually ended up as Technus? -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com
carmel_andrews
Is Technus also called 'Technologie Soldier' or something... if so, they are totally different games, so it would hardly be 'classed' as a port over or conversion sorry about that atarimania/atari frog

sku_u
Dungeons and Dragons. I'd like to see what some of the crative people here could do with this one to make it work. Doom would also be a nice one to see as a demo application.
chguat
I was just thinking about this. I would have to say Crystal Quest and Oregon Trail. Crystal Quest really wouldn't be that hard to do, and it really wouldn't surprise me if someone's already made a version of it for the A8. To say it in other words: We could have a fun Wolfenstein 3D version, but a "Rastan Saga" would never give the wanted result.

Wrathchild
Bard's Tale Also, I don't think the A8 Gauntlet is bad For RPGs - couldn't any of the SSI/TSR games be ported from the C64 easily? Has the A8 got an early "Final Fantasy" or "Pokemon" style game yet? A Hypersports port (from C64, the BBC version isn't so good) would be good, although the Track&Field games we have aren't too bad. I agree that the C64 scrollers (Blood Money, Xenon, R-Type) probably wouldn't cut it on the A8. Though I think Speedball maybe just possible, something like Ballistix could work OK. I'd add "Paradroid" & "Stunt Car Racer" to the list too. Regards, Mark Edited November 23, 2005 by Wrathchild

The_Laird
He's a few games I would love to see that would be more than possible. Blue Lightning or Afterburner Double Dragon Wrestlefest And also a couple of obscure but brilliant Spectrum games: Bak 2 Skool - Possibly the best game ever made by Microsphere. Viking Raiders - Great strategy game by Firebird.
