I wish Bill would get off his but and finally come out with a re-release of Bounty Bob. We need to GENTLY remind him to get to work on this project. video game addict
I believe a case or so of C64 versions were found last year. I think they were actually 5200 boxes that had been restickered for C64, so all one would need to do is remove some stickers & they would have a 5200 box. The current auctions are both by collector/resellers, these are not becoming more available. Anyone want to take a guess as to how many carts/boxes are in known hands? MattG/Snyper2099
I'm not sure how many are in collectors hands but I'm a firm believer that the 8-bit version is much harder to find than the 5200 version. It would only make sense that less 8-bit copies of the game were sold. Yet, you can aquire the 8-bit version for a small fraction of the cost. Plus, with the 8-bit version, you don't have to worry about buying a 5200 crossover adapter so you don't have to use the crappy-ass stock 5200 sticks. Odd, but cool However, the 8-bit box is VERY rare.
