G4TV Coverage - Airing today

Hi folks. The "Philadelphia Freedon" G4 segment aired tonight. The review was short, but good overall. The segment poked fun at the COSplayers but the hostest said the con was fun. She suggested that VGXPO was a combination of the "classic game convention in Las Vegas" and a "trade show". Check the G4 website for air dates:

I just watched it on my DVR and saw a quick shot of the AtariAge banner and I think I saw Big Player standing in front of it. The woman with the stupid looking, trying too hard to be cool hair was kind of making fun of a guy dressed in a ratty-looking PITFALL! 'costume'. She also interviewed a fat guy wearing an Atari T-shirt. He had a greasy mini-mullet and talked about 'stuff'. She also talked to a few other people including a lisping Link. The whole segment was pretty much a waste of time. She made the whole thing seem like a sad joke; the usual Trek-like convention with the customary parade of pathetic nerds to make fun of.

Yeah, I just saw the "coverage"

 

Gotta agree with RT the clip made the whole thing look like one big sad Trek convention soceitally disfunctional person-athon

 

Which is kind of funny, cause ya know, those G4 people are just soooo hip and cool.
