MoonlightKnight
Hi there! After about an hour I managed a whopping 625 and I'm so never playing this game again. Please, try at least variant #1, H.E.R.O. normally has a really friendly difficulty ramp. Hm... some tips: - The lamp is always on the right side. - While you need to go away quite a bit from the dynamite horizontally, a few pixels do vertically - In 95% of cases, the more difficult looking path is the right one Greetings, Manuel 991759 I've played all the variants myself, but like many others here, I completely suck at level 5... I can't even finish the first level, even though I know the map pretty well after playing it a few dozen times. I'm afraid this is my best score for this game at that difficulty: HERO score
Cybergoth
Hi there! I completely suck at level 5... I think it's the other way round. That randomisation is totally bogus for a highscore contest. I usually lose lives in levels 13-14 and higher, so basically my score so far is just a series of good luck. (2-3 hard levels in a row and I'm busted.) Greetings, Manuel
+SpiceWare
Back from visiting my brother for Xmas and New Years. Hope y'all had as much fun over the holidays as I did! 12,325 - played a few rounds for my token entry. I'm off to bed to recoup

supercat
A token score for the participation point. 992990 I got 1000 too, losing my last life in the screen with the red lava wall in the middle. Three games later: 1350. Edited January 3, 2006 by supercat

Mad Scientist
Re: next game: I submitted one (actually two, as I noticed on Monday that my first selection had been used last year). I'll leave it to ze_ro to confirm it, but I will name the game this evening if he has not already done so by then. -Mad Scientist

Mad Scientist
Hi there! Is it Air Raiders? Greetings, Manuel 993295 Nope, it's not Air raiders, although I should try that one sometime. I'd prefer to wait for ze_ro's new top-level post so that scores don't get posted in the wrong thread... -Mad Scientist Edited January 3, 2006 by Mad Scientist

It was hard, no matter how many times I played. There was nothing random about it. It was just a hard level all around. Ze_ro
Well, that's the end of this week, I hope you all enjoyed H.E.R.O. Yeah, I'm a little slow this week... sorry about that, work has been busy. Anyways, the next game has been posted, so go check it out! --Zero

Cybergoth
Oh no! Playing a normal game starting from level 1, I was sooo close to beating H.E.R.O. this time! I died in level 19 with a score of 150.805!!
D.Yancey
Great score! Level 20 is a real killer. I rarely clear it without losing 1 or 2 men. Time is also such a factor due to the length of level 20. Hope you make it to the "pro"'s soon on H.E.R.O.
Cybergoth
Thanks! I've been only playing it casually the past ~20 years, slowly improving my skills. Maybe it's time for a serious attempt at beating it now (Though making it past level 20 is good enough for me, I won't go for the !!!!!! )
Cybergoth
Argh! So close. Soo Close!! I made it to Level 20 with 3 lives left, but failed. Final score: 175.
Cybergoth
I made it! I made it! I made it! *jumpsaroundlikeasquirrelwithburningtail* I've seen the light! I mean "LEVEL:PRO"!
