R.Cade
I noticed that the documents to make RAM carts don't use the C100339 design, except for the version with the built-in BIOS. Does anyone have instructions for making a RAM cart from the '339 without the BIOS? I already have the DevOS EPROM in my 7800... Bruce Tomlin
That's because the '339 sucks. Seriously, though, the Maria can't pull graphics from RAM on that cart because the timing is wrong. If you want a cart with RAM in it, take apart a Jinks cart. It's already got 8K, and you can always desolder that and replace it with an xx256 RAM for 16K. That's gotta be a better use for it than playing Jinks. And if the devos lets you use RAM in a cart without booting the game, Summer Games and Winter games are the only two with 16K built in.
