General Atarian
My inside contact at my "classified" location called me and let me know he got in a box of 2600 carts. He held them for me and let me rummage through them before he put them out for sale. (If I get a good score, I usually tip the guy.) I got: Gangster alley Joust Crackpots Spiderman Eggomania Realsports soccer All I need is realsports boxing to complete the realsports collection. Heck of a nice guy. The "Location" sells their carts for 1$ each. They have no clue on the rarity guide. I got "Jawbreaker" a rarity 5, there for a buck. They probably have a hundred there on the shelf for 1$. But they are dupes of what I have. Glad I have my own "sweet spot". There are not too many stores in my area that sell 2600 carts (maybe around 5). It is good to have friend in low places. BatmiteReturns
Friends in low places take the fun out of collecting. Half the fun is walking into a store and seeing that certain rare cart you have been looking for and making your way to it as quickly, and calmly as possible before someone snatches it up. Having people at your "classified" location who work on the "inside" ruins it for the rest of us.
iguana
I have a guy like that too! I stoped by and he told me he got a new box full of them but left them home and to stop in on this sat to take a look, he will hold them!

KAZ
Organized 2600 crime sindicate: Buyer: "Do you have the 'item'?" Crime Boss (looking around suspiciously): "Look in here..." (Takes out a black box) Buyer: "This looks like an eprom, is this some sort of trick?" Crime Boss: "Look at the initials on the back." Buyer (in amazement) "This is from Fat Tony's Private Stash!" Well I tried to make it like a mafia story line with 2600 games. I tried! Can anyone do better?
