But my save survived. Anyways, what's going on is the game attempts to detect the presence of a copier. If it sees oddities that it thinks indicate a cart copier, you get the big nasty save-deleting anti-piracy warning. There's a "master code" you have to enter that disables the copier check. figgler
You get a similar "warning" if you try to use a Genie with Donkey Kong Country 2 or 3. I've never had it erase my game though. Shitty. Does anyone know why my Gmae Genie doesn't work at all? Does it have a shelf-life or what ? The screen comes up, but any codes I enter don't ever work for any games. Only thing I can think of is a) it's a dud, or b) my SNES 2 doesn't like it.

There's a switch on the front that enables and disables the Genie. If it's on, a green light glows, and codes work. If it's off, no light, no codes. figgler
I wish it were that simple JB. Green light on - no code action....
Lost Monkey
I had my super Metroid save erased because I was too lazy to unhook the copier/SFC combo and hook up the SNES... It was fun playing from the start again though...
