Did I wreck this system?

I got one of those av mods from 8bit domain. I am not too bad when it comes to soldering circuit boards, so the soldering job is decent. However when I plug in the video cable, the screen goes wobbly on me. I can see the title screen sort of, but the screen is going all over the place. Does anyone know how to fix this? IE is there a solder point responsible for this attribute or is the mod board bad? Plugging in that 4 pin adapter seems to do nothing, ie the screen looks the same before and after I plug it in. I emailed 8bit, but was wondering if anyone else had a similar problem and a fix.

Thanks

First thing I would do is uninstall the mod and see if the 7800 still works with the regular RF output.

Yes, I sorta cracked the chip I took out so I can't put it back in. I tried all three plugs. The yellow gives waves, the white gives nothing but a black screen and the yellow gives waves.

Is there anyway to replace that chip I removed? I really don't want to buy another 7800. I knew I should have not messed with a good thing. :(

Uninstalling the 7800 mod is difficult without a spare of whatever chip it is that gets removed. Have you tried all three plugs as well as the RF?
