General Atarian
I figured what the heck? I emailed infogrames and asked them permission to print the t-shirts. They actually said yes, on the following conditions 1. They are for my personal use 2. Gifts to friends 3. I can sell them to fellow Atari collectors, at a non-profit basis. Just enough money to cover the cost of my materials, ie. The blank shirt and the ink. 4. I, in no way may make any profit from this. 5. I am limited to 100 t-shirts. I actually cant believe it, they said yes! I cant wait to get my printing going. Made the screen printing stencil today off of an online image. The image logo and name will be in white on a black shirt. On the front or back. Pretty nice size. I'm thrilled. ps. Please refrain from laughing at me. Noble Kale
sounds good if everything is nice and legal.... make sure you frame that email... (probably the only nice one that's ever been sent out by infogrammes)
General Atarian
Are you kidding...I plan to laminate this one. Unreal. I know what you mean about the nice on being sent out. They usually are tight about the atari name and logo.
AtariKen64
cool please let us see them when its done!
Joel D. Park
That's great, infogrames must be a little cooler than I thought. Maybe I can send some Atari games your way, in exchange for a shirt, you wouldn't be making a profit then. I'm an XL :-) According to your web page you need: Bermuda Triangle and Communist Mutants From Space I have these two shrink wrapped in their boxes spare. :-)
Ze_ro
To be honest, I'm surprised they even responded to you at all! Nicely done --Zero
CosmicJoke
I would be willing to send you 2-3 new t-shirts + postage if you would silk screen and send only ONE back to me. You could silk screen the other two and keep them or give'em away to your friends! That way you wouldn't be making a profit and it would benefit a few people. Or, I could send you some Atari carts, Intellivision carts, or I have a few NES carts as well.
Varan
Well... it is free advertising if you get people to wear them. Maybe they are all laughing. "LOL, this guy wants to advertise our games for us for free! Maybe we should require that he put infogrames.com on the back. LOLOLOL!" Grats. Is that 100 of each design or 100 total in your entire life?
Atarinvader
I'm pretty shocked at that, especialy with rumours that they're about to launch their own merchandies range! I'd like one and have trade...
Cassidy Nolen
You know, we could probably supplement your collection of games for trades of shirts. That way, we are trading you games for the value of the shirts, no money or profit exchanged. I would love one. Mine is getting worn out and the Computer Space one I have is too confusing to have to explain to people. Cassidy Anybody got an Atari Tattoo?
