Question about the power balls, I notice that you can use them, and it almost seems to work something like this... First use, returns fairly quickly. Second use, comes back in a time almost twice as long as the first. Third use, even longer a wait. Is this the formula uses on the power ball? Of course I noticed that when you grab the fruit/cake whatever that this seems to not be in effect and the power ball seems to return much quicker. My tactics is: 1) to grab as much extra lives as possible in lower levels 2) to release ball as faster as possible, no waiting for better opportunity 3) to block caves with apples, wait for enemies to mutate and then kill 'em all in one cool shot 4) not to fight with enemies in higher levels, much better is to collect all cherries to finish level Happy gaming!
