Rom Hunter
This is an interesting game indeed: The Unknown Game ©1983 Datatech Enterprises Co., Ltd. Try to reach the symbols at the top of the screen within time by walking an invisible path on a grid while avoiding UFO's and bullets dropped by birds. You can choose a new path at the bottom of the screen. Reaching a Minus: You loose 300 points. Return to the beginning of your chosen path and you will get new energy (time). Reaching a Plus: You gain 1000 points. Return to the beginning of your chosen path and you will get new energy (time). UFO's can be destroyed by touching them (500 points). Reaching a Sword: You gain 500 points. The grid becomes invisible and all paths are walkable. Return to the bottom of the screen and you will get new energy (time). UFO's can be destroyed by touching them (500 points). When you are hit by a non-flashing UFO, you will loose one life. When you run out of energy (time), you will loose one life. Sometimes the paths change position and you will fall off and loose one life. Sometimes you can teleport from one vertical path to another (I still don't know if this is a secret or a glitch). The game has a two player mode, eight difficulty levels (the speed increases) and contains music! Thomas, Are there any Home Vision or Suntek traces to be found inside? Thomas Jentzsch
Are there any Home Vision or Suntek traces to be found inside? Nope, I didn't find anything yet. I need to scrutinize the code.

mos6507
I just got my copy today. I noticed that the screen flips. It doesn't seem to maintain a steady scanline count. Interesting, I wonder if that happens to everyone, I didn't notice it on my TV. 1027237[/snapback] I think some TVs are more tolerant of different scanline counts than others. My Flashback2 also flips more than I thought it should (on things like Frogs n Flies).
