pmpddytim
I was wondering if it is possible to get the old standard RF signal out of the FB2. The reason I ask is because I travel quite a bit and Hotel/motel TVs tend to be waaaaay out of date and many do not have the proper composite connections for the FB2. However I can hook up a rf switch (or adaptor) to these beasts. I would like to have a cart modded FB2 with both RF and composite video out (I would settle for just RF) so I can take my atari gaming on the road with me in the smallest easiest to transport form. Right now I'm using my 7800 but I'm afraid its going to get broken eventually. -Tim
jaybird3rd
You can buy external RF modulator boxes that are specifically designed to allow newer appliances (DVD players, etc.) to connect to older sets. They typically have composite and S-Video input so they'll probably work with the FB2 as well. I've seen them at Wal-Mart but didn't happen to catch the price; they're probably around $30 or so. That would probably be a better option than trying to mod the FB2, since its AC adapter might not provide enough power to feed an internal RF modulator.
