Trench
I bought a new pin connector and I installed it right and now the games are worse than ever. Only Mario will load. So how do I rig it so I don't have to push down after I insert the game, because I think the problem is somewhere in there. I'll play it without the top of the case if I have to. Prodos8
Try cleaing your games. New pin connecter + dirty games= ruined pin connecter and no play time! You can get a great profesinal cleaing kit on ebay! 1031083[/snapback] As stated above, first make sure your games are clean. Nothing contaminates a new connector like dirty carts. If your carts were dirty you may need to give your new connector a good cleaning. Second, the six screws that hold down the cartridge holder don't need to be very tight. Try loosening them, they only need to be tight enough to hold the tray inplace. If they are over tightened they can cause alignment problems. Also, make sure the tray is installed correctly, make sure the front lip/tab is not misaligned. Its supposed to go under the mobo, not on top. Thirdly, did you clean the connectors on the mobo itself, as these sometimes can be the culpirt for the blinks. Lastly, some of those third party connectors (if that's what you have) are known to be bad. So, maybe you have a deffective one??
