Tempest
Ok I know I've posted before about this really obscure system that no one seems to have, but I found what I believe to be a complete game list. I was wondering how many of these games people have or have seen (which ones actually exist). I got this list out of one of the instruction manuals: I put *'s next to the ones I own VB-59 The Programmable VB-81 The Financier * VB-1000 Money Manger VB-1100 Budget System VB-1200 Information Manager CM01 Timeshare ED01 Music Teacher 1 * ED02 Math Tutor 1 * ED03 Wordwise 1 * ED04 Wordwise 2 * ED05 Video Artist ED06 Lemonade Stand * ED07 Musicianship 1 ED08 Number Cross ED09 Historical Simulation - France in the Old Regime EN01 Gladiator * EN02 Pinball EN03 Tennis EN04 Checkers * EN05 Blackjack * EN06 Vice Versa * EN08 Music Programmer EN09 Programmable Football Notice that EN07 is missing, I wonder why? Anyone else have any of these games? Tempest [ 04-10-2002: Message edited by: Tempest ]

ubersaurus
Never heard of this console. You have some information on it? I don't think I read those posts ;p
Tempest
It was a programmable computer/video game system released in 1977 by the Video Brain Computer Company. It's similar to the Odyssey^2 in many respects. I guess it's more of a computer than a video game system, but it used cartridges (big honkin' ones that look like VHS tapes) and not disks or tapes. Here's a picutre of an auction I won for some VB stuff: Video Brain Auction Here's a better picture of the system and some cartridges: Video Brain and cartridges Tempest [ 04-10-2002: Message edited by: Tempest ]

Tempest
Check this VideoBrian game description out: ED04 Wordwise 2 – Brings touch typing into the computer age with three exercises designed to teach beginning typists. Includes “CYPHER” a fascinating new word game. Looks like VideoBrain beat me to my own game by 15 years! Tempest

as_the_gavel_falls
I traded Timeshare, and I have Music Teacher, Video Artist, Tennis, checkers, vice versa, and word wise1. I am looking for a joystick for it, working or not.
