super_dos_man
traded in my heavy sixer for it. I like it because it can play 7800 AND 2600 games. the controllers rule and I am now addicted to pete rose baseball
8th lutz
Good to hear. You may want to get food fight and dig dug at least along with ballblazer. Midnight muntants is a game to consider. Rampage isn't too bad. If you are into old classic arcade games get Centipede, asteroids. Edited May 9, 2006 by 8th lutz
HammR25
One on ONe basketball has always been my favorite.
Gregory DG
I am now addicted to pete rose baseball I love that game. It just about the only game I play from the Activision Anthology GBA. The controls are a bit weird, but it's an amazing game nonetheless!

shadow460
My recommendations: Galaga Asteroids Beef Drop (if you liked Burger Time, you'll like Beef Drop, too) Meltdown Crossbow Joust Centipede Food Fight Other games to check out are: Tank Command Water Ski Rampage Alien Brigade Pole Position II Choplifter! Mean 18 Ultimate Golf Both of the rarest 7800 games (Tank Command and Mean 18) really are decent.

Chickybaby
If you can, Buy a CC2 now you totally won't regret it !!! Oh and Food Fight is a really fun game.
Paranoid
Mean 18 is over-rated. It is a decent golf game... BUT... it was done better on other platforms (I really like the color Mac version)... And... it is a video game... about... GOLF... You don't even get to drive a cart around the fairways while getting drunk.
ZylonBane
Check out the recommended games at this site: www.flipsiderunner.com/7800 But bear in mind that these reviews are a bit... random. If you can even be bothered to deal with the "click on the picture of a sliver of the game box" navigation inteface. Asteroids a 2.5? I think not. Gregory DG
I've always been a bit partial to TAT's 7800 reviews.
7800Lover
Welcome to the brotherhood. The 7800 rocks. With its selection of games and backwards compatibility with the 2600, you get the best of both worlds. Enjoy!
Cousin Vinnie
I think not. I think, that's the difference. Cousin Vinnie Edited May 18, 2006 by Cousin Vinnie
shadow460
Welcome to the brotherhood. The 7800 rocks. With its selection of games and backwards compatibility with the 2600, you get the best of both worlds. Enjoy! There's really not a reason to skip the 7800 if you're into Atari gaming. If you're serious enough about playing 2600 Dark Chambers and Space Shuttle, you're probably serious enough to enjoy the 7800 as well for some of its titles. If you're a casual Atari gamer, the 7800 will run every game you'll ever need. Well, it didn't run Super Mario Bros. very well, but that's another matter entirely.
