taxman
My neighborhood keeps getting hit with power outages so someone at work told me to get a uninterruptible power supply, but I haven't the slightest clue on what to look for. Does anyone have any experience with this on what to look for? I would be using it just for my computer setup - computer, LCD monitor, speakers, printer, telephone. It really depends on your application and time necessary to keep the equipment running. Check out APC's products and their features, that should help you decide. http://www.apc.com/products/category.cfm?id=
taxman
Thanks. I ended up buying a Tripp-Lite Omni 1000LCD at Costco. In fact I picked up a second one because of my TV acting up from the power outages, not to mention the brown outs I get in my house.
