nester
I got a new 7800 adaptor which is coming in the mail. Hopefully this means that I will be able to hook up my ol' Atari 7800 and play it again. This is the system that originally got me into classic gaming in the first place, so it's kind of exciting. I just hope it works properly. It's been a while. The only problem is that I don't seem to have any working controllers. Both the ones I tried won't move down. Well my one wouldn't move left, but I fiddled with it and it changed. I guess I can either use a 2600 controller or just play Galaga.
Ferris
Let me know if you have any problems getting it to work. I'm happy to help in whatever way I can, so-long as I'm helping a classic gamer get back in the 7800 saddle : ) You may want to carefully open your controllers up and see what's going on. It may just need some adjusting or reinforcing. I beefed up all of my ProLines by packing them with styrofoam. Makes them nice and tight and responsive, a true 180* from the normal ProLine. Good luck and have fun!!
shadow460
I built up the inside of one of my pro lines with cardboard. It really does make a difference.
nester
Well I think the main problem with my controllers is that they're just plain broken.
