jboypacman Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 ok am enjoying my 7800 that i just purchased but when i was going to go and play my 2600 games on it i have problems getting some of my carts to fit right.my imagic and data age carts are the worst ones.my normal 2600 games by atari fit perfect i was just wondering does anyone else has this problem?thanks for any feedback guys. bjk7382 Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Yes, its a common problem. There are a few things you can do 1. Just jam the carts in there 2. Modify the cart port on the system (i've never done it, but I believe you have to cut in the sides of the port) 3. shadow460 Posted June 14, 2006 Share Posted June 14, 2006 (edited) Cutting the sides of the cart port is easy, but getting to it is pretty complex. A good solution to your problem can be found here. My 7800 used to have a lot of problems; it turned out one of the pokey-thingies had broken off and gotten jammed between the cartridge guide and case.
