Once again on another board I read up how dogs can't truly love, or enjoy the pleasures of sex. Before any of you are ready to PM any one of the Administrators of this board saying I am posting porn. I am talking about 2 real dogs, whom I both cared for very much.

Ladybird belonged to Leon, a housepainter I had just gotten my first real job from. He took me as I was a man with average skills and poor education. But he saw in me something more a man who was willing to work as long and as hard as neccesary to get the job done. But as I said I had average skills he put me in charge of his beloved Ladybird; a female dobie. Who to me was just as sweet and and beautiful as any canine could be. Once once she accepted me as her friend always seemed to want me to do the dirty work, namely walk her in all weathers.

Well I had been working for Leon for nearly a year when Leon's adult son John had this idea of buy a full blooded pit and using him for stud services so that he (John) could make a bit of extra money. Naturally Leon said yes, and agreed to also take in this dog as John could not have one do to the place he lived in did not allow dogs in John's

building.

That is how Bruno came into my life, I still swear even though Bruno was a full blooded pit. He was the sweetest dog I ever met. You know when I came to Leon's home to walk his dogs. Afterwards Bruno would always climb up on to my lap and lick my face. He would also try and beg for any snack I might have. The way Bruno could look at you and

melt your heart. Call me a sap, even though I was hungry when I ate Bruno would always have more of my snack than me.

With the introductions out of the way let me tell you how Ladybird liked Bruno at first. In 2 words She Didn't, Ladybird literally made Bruno's life a living hell at first. She would always growl and snap her teeth at poor Bruno. There was more than one time that I had to Bruno in to the bathroom so the poor animal could eat. Ladybird especaially tried and bite Bruno if he ever got too close to her rear. Then one day out of the blue, Ladybird let Bruno lick her face.

Keep in mind both dogs weren't fixed at this time and ladybird totally was not in heat. Then a few days later she allowed Bruno to lay down right next to her, even allowing their bodies to touch.

It was past a long weekend when I returned to Leon's place where I saw the most amazing thing one day. Ladybird was licking Bruno around the face and ear, and Bruno was enjoying this. As Bruno did as he was allowed to dniff Ladybird's rear a few days later.

Over the next few weeks I saw things I wished I had photos of. Such as Ladybird licking in and around Bruno's mouth. Bruno licking deep within Ladybird's ear, and Ladybird herself doing the same. I swear this is true.

They were becoming inseprable, I even had to call my brother in to help me as they always seemed to wanted to be walked together. Then there was those times when Bruno went out on stud calls. Ladybird literally cried when Bruno went away and was so glad when he finally returned, and so was Bruno. Who for the first time when he went on any of these calls tryed to mount Ladybird. Who instantly let Bruno know she did not like that. As seeming no one figured out save me and my brother Bruno finally got Ladybird pregnant. Why nobody else in that group put this together

I just don't know. Bruno I admit was a good father. He kept an eye on his pups you simply would not believe.

Like pups do they grew, I had to housebreak which ones I could as Leon and John sold off the lot. There was some talk about either of them getting fixed but nothing happened until it was discovered that Ladybird was soon pregnant once again. That was Leon finally got Ladybird spayed. But that is not the end of the story. I know what you are

thinking, a dog gets fixed they don't have sex.

It was about 6 or 9 weeks after Ladybird was spayed. That for some unexplained reason Ladybird and Bruno were heading off to the bathroom mostly to be alone. Leon told me serverial times he had to chase the pair out of there more than once. What were they doing in there? let me set up the few things I heard. Like Ladybirds discharge which seemed to be happening nearly everytime she went to take a piss. But did not happen when Bruno was gone. Then there was this time John had taken Bruno to the park. I admit Bruno was caked in dirt. But seemly no one had the time

to give him a bath. Till the next day when I finally came to do it. Leon told me later that when he woke up the next morning Ladybirds back was covered in the same dirt. John even tried as a joke to get Bruno to mount Ladybird. Who did not like this very much. It just became one of those mysteries.

After a few years, Leon finally decided to retire and move to the UP of Michigan. It was his ex-wife Laverne who finally filled me in on what that discharge actually was. Laverne had agreed to watch both dogs as Leon had to go to the hospital do to heart condiction for observation. Laverne one day noticed the very same discharge and took a sample over to the vets. Who them pronounced it "Dog Semen". But no one had seen a thing or had any explaination why it was there.

They are all gone now, both Ladybird and Bruno died about 6 years ago. Old age for the most part, Bruno went first Ladybird died less than a month afterwards. I still think do to a broken heart. But I like to think of them up in heaven still very much in love.
