I got this Parallel Port network card from a guy in Germany that allowed me access to my Mega2 via ftp - finally an easy way to back up my ST hard drive which only starts on every 3rd tuesday on months without a full moon , ie its going bad real fast! I do have a TT and a Mega attached to my Linux LAN through the serial ports. I would be interested to know what transfer speeds you are getting? Cutter 2001.......not as good as the movie. Goochman Posted January 1, 2002 Author Share Posted January 1, 2002 The Network card is a 'Parallel' adaptor card that connects to the ST's cartidge port. I was getting about 1 mbps during my transfers which was ok for me.
