SteveW
I was hoping to find some Fairchild/Zircon games at the Oklahoma Game Expo, but I didn't see any. I saw several Astrocade games, a couple RCA Studio II cartridges, and assorted computer carts, but no Channel F games. Bummer.
The Eidolon
I liked the Doge'Em game and the Breakout clone.

I'll trade you a some of my Fairchild carts for the C64 set you won at OVGE and a six pack of Dr. Pepper! Actually, I really would. Refresh my memory regarding what was included in your C64 package and I'll come up with an offer involving Channel F carts, if you're interested. SteveW
Well, so far I haven't been able to get the Fairchild from my co-worker yet, or find out which games he has. He said something about having around a dozen games, which sounds like a good half of the Channel F's library. I'll let you know when I get it, and what games come with it. I don't want a bunch of duplicates, after all. I'm not sure if I want to give up the C64. I've been thinking about getting one for a while now, but i've never really sought one out. Now that I have one, along with a big ol' stack of floppies thanks to Flack, i'm not sure if I want to give it up. I will however put some Dublin Dr Pepper up for trade! Numan
I obtained a Fairchild a number of years ago and I tried some games with a friend. We mostly played Blackjack, although we liked Baseball, considering the age of the game. Several years later, I won Casino (Poker) on eBay, that game is awesome, and has the toughest computer opponent of any of the games released at the time, it bluffs like a fiend. SteveW
I bought the Bowling cart out at a flea market today, and it's the first time I've ever looked at a Fairchild cartridge before. Man, they designed these things well! I love the spring-loaded door at the tip of these things. The cartridge contacts look pristine! It looks like it just came off the assembly line! The contacts on the other games I bought out there look like the cartridges were stored in a swamp, but the Channel F cart looks great. Lord Thag
Another tip if your collecting for the Channel F. ALWAYS check the 8-tracks. You would be amazed at how many Channel F carts get mistaken for 8-track tapes. A friend of mine has found no less than ten that way. On the same note, Bally Astrocade carts always get mixed in with cassette tapes. Always check both when you're out thrifting.
