Ralph Baer article in "Smithsonian" magazine

There's a nice generic article about Ralph Baer in the September 2006 issue of "Smithsonian" magazine. It mostly talks about Simon .. but it does say that the Smithsonian recently collected early versions of his works .. which I presume would include "the black box".

And back in May in a book review in "The New York Times" about failure and invention, there was a Ralph Baer quote: "engineers are in the habit of 'looking at the world as if everything in it needs fixing.''' :D

Hats off to Mr. Baer.
