Yes to both But the thumb sticks count as analog, unless you get a 3rd party ps2 stick that allows use of the analog anyways. Another words, its able to read triangle, x, circle and square as the right analog when the analog button isn't on. It'll then read the left one as up/down/left/right, and it'll work in MAME.
