Red 5
After a crazy summer of having a new baby, working and umpiring little league, I somehow have found time to (mostly) finish the Star Wars cab. After locating and installing a couple of missing gears and pots from the yoke, I found a hack online that showed me how to solder a board from a Microsoft Sidewinder Joystick onto the original Star Wars flight yoke. Absolutely brilliant. I now have a flight yoke from 1983 that has a USB port connected to it. My computer in the cab. recognizes the Star Wars Flight Yoke as a MS Sidewinder joystick. This is a pic. of the hack. This is a pic after the flight stick was hacked, the monitor shelf was put in, and the light and speakers were installed. This is a piece of metal my father-in-law made at his machine shop for me. The sticker was found online. After replacing some t-molding, cleaning it up with some wood putty and paint, it was just a quick pull on a moving dolly to the basement. The Star Wars Cab is running MAME with Star Wars, Empire, and Jedi loaded from a menu screen. (I also threw Paper Boy in there because it's a lot of fun with the yoke.) The middle one is all MAME. Built that from an old Missile Command Cab. The Galaga is all Galage, completely refurbished to its original state. This is a pic of my 3 year old enjoying a round of Star Wars: And since I'm posting pics, I just hit 420 original (label variations included) NTSC 2600 carts, so here they are... Thanks so much Curt. Star Wars is a dream cab for me. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. Edited September 4, 2006 by therealred5

Red 5
uh, what about the internal Gamecube? Soon. After wii comes out and I 'retire' my Cube. I have some pieces I need. Monitor split cable and all, but I still need the GC to CRT cable. Check back after the new year and it will have Rebel Assault in there as well.
