Paranoid
I'm using a ATR image of MyDOS 5.53/4.... I've created a 16mb .atr image using APE. My goal is to copy a bunch of .xex files to the 16mb ATR image file. So, I use O to attach the 16mb drive and then I to initalize it and H to write DOS files to the disk. It works, I now have a 16mb .atr image that will work as D1: I use ALT-H to map a virtual hard drive as H1: to the physical path C:\temp\atari\executables Where my xex files reside. I do a directory A H1:*.* And it lists the xex files on my physical hard drive. I try to COPY the files C H1:*.*,D1: And I get an error -- 170 But I can copy an individual file for example C H1:BATLZNE.XEX,D1:BATLZNE.XEX Although C H1:BATLZNE.XEX,D1: Will fail. I have to type in the destination file name Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?
Paranoid
If anyone is interested, my finally analysis is that the Atari800Win PLus implementation of "H: drives" is flawed and unreliable. I found a work around, I'll post more later.

Paranoid
http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=1137362 Iratanam... on the workaround: The same disk image that I create for the MyIDE cartridge can be used in emulation to make xex files on a PC accessible in emulation without using the H: Patch. In the document, this is the step titled "Creating a Hard Drive Image File". You can use MakeATR or APE to perform this action.
