moycon Posted May 16, 2002 Share Posted May 16, 2002 Microsoft has also announced they will drop the price of XBOX to $199. Nintendo stated they wont be dropping the price. I can't imagine Bill aint losing a little ass on this. After 2 years Sony announced it had broke even on the cost of PS2 Hardware.... and dropped the price. Its been 6 months for the Xbox...and they've sold how many??? And I have yet to see one Xbox title on the market that excites me enough to buy it. I've had a PS2 for over a year now and I am still pretty disappointed with it. Although, things are starting to look better now. I'm not much of a Nintendo fan and have not paid full price for a Nintendo console system since the NES. I probably won't even consider a GameCube until it is under a $100.
