I voted for Kid Icarus. I rented it several times as a kid and never got very far. It's about time I went back and revisited it.

Kid Icarus? That means we'll have to manually input our scores, since you can't get your score if you die.

 

I really think Elevator Action or TMNT 2 would be a better choice.

I don't care for the emulation scene really. I'd rather play the "real" game, or at least a legitimately emulated version, like say a port on a compilation or something. Downloading illegal ROMs is generally something I am not very comfortable with.

I hate emu's too but for this competition, I almost needed one but i found the game.

Okay, I'll break the tie: Elevator Action it is! I agree that it would be difficult to even know, let alone, prove what your score was in Kid Icarus.

I'd like to suggest that, by rule, whichever game appears highest on the list should always win in a tie. My reasoning is that the higher positioned game has fewer remaining chances to be elected.

I'd agree with that. I am also thinking it might serve us better to have only 4 choices on the list. Since each week one or two games get nearly no attention, it would make the voting more cohesive to limit the choices maybe
