dejapooh
I am kind of new to Game Collecting, and today I went on my first forage. I couldn't find any carts worth getting, but I did find 17 tape cassette for the Atari 400/800. Is there any collecing interest in them? www.atarimania.com
Typing Tutor is ultra rare and it would also be great to have dumps of Caverns of Mars, Codecracker, Letterman and Bumper Pool. Is there any way you can record them as WAV files and then make tape images? -- Atari Frog http://www.atarimania.com Edited October 14, 2006 by www.atarimania.com
deathtrappomegranate
We could use a few of those for archiving at Atarimania, if you're looking to get rid of them... *edit* Frog beat me to it! Even if you could just make mp3 files from the tapes, that would be useful. Edited October 14, 2006 by deathtrappomegranate
dejapooh
I would love to help the hobby, but I have no way at this time to make a wav or MP3 file, especially of a cassette tape. I used to have an 800, but I traded it in for the ST many years ago. I am interested in either trading or selling them. Could you give me an idea of what "ultra rare" means? I assume that the other titles named, since they are not archived, are pretty rare. All in all, what are they worth? My first choice would be to sell them to one of you who are interested in saving the code for the betterment of the hobby (even if that means selling for less). I first want to know what they are worth, then we can work from there. Edited October 15, 2006 by dejapooh

dejapooh
I understand. Perhaps we can work out a lay away plan, but first things first... what is it worth!??
dejapooh
Is there no one out there who wants to trade for or buy these Programs?
deathtrappomegranate
I'd be interested in getting hold of several of them. Not many people collect cassettes, though, especially in the US. If you're willing to ship to the UK, maybe we can work something out.
dejapooh
My email is Dejapooh(a)verizon.net (replace that (a) with a @). I am just starting to collect. I am looking mainly for NES, I think, but any fair trade or sale price would be good. Daniel
Albert
If you sell them at a reasonable price I would be willing to buy them so I can make recordings and send them off to Atarimania. ..Al

joeventura
yeah the box looks like it went through a war but the cassette is intact, book is mint. Also found a book by the same company called "Master Memory Map" for Atari 400/

I don't know, but you would probably be better off to start a new post to ask this question. More people would see it that way.
