Mendon
Saw that Rampage: Total Destruction is going to have a Wii version: Rampage Anyone figure out what might be different about this Wii version of the game from previous versions released for GC and PS2? I enjoyed the GC version ($19.99) but can't see why a Wii version ($29.99) is being released, especially since the Wii plays GC games. The ad says nothing about it being enhanced for Wii controller use and I really can't imagine how the Wii controller would help the game. Anyhoot, just curious if anyone has any ideas on why Rampage is being released for the Wii (other than to possibly make a couple more bucks off the title). BydoEmpire
I didn't get around to picking it up for the Cube, but I could see Rampage being fun on the Wii if the controls were done correctly. Mmmm... building smashing! Haven't heard anything about the Wii version, though.
moycon
If I had to guess it is probably the exact same game repackaged to boost launch titles.
King_Salamon
There are the Wii controls (which haven't been explained) and additional characters (3 new to the roster) and a graphics cleanup. That's their reasoning behind the $30 price. Personally, I'd wait for someone else to review it and see if it's worth it.
sega saturn x
and a graphics cleanup. Not really http://ps2media.ign.com/ps2/image/article/...14013240204.jpg http://wiimedia.ign.com/wii/image/article/...06113402734.jpg Seems like a "because we can" price hike. King_Salamon
The graphics are less fuzzy... should have said that. But overall, I think it's the Wii doing the work and not the coders on that. Of course it's a 'because we can' hike... this game will be $19.99 in the new year... so will a lot of the other 3rd party games for the Wii. (Barnyard, Chicken Little etc). MegaManFan
The only good reason to do this would be if you could use the Wii controller like a giant monster fist and smash buildings. That might be worth $30.
jpfalcon2003
Wanted this game for the Gamecube. Glad i didn't get it because i will get it for the Wii, but will wait for the price to fall after the new year.
