8-Bit Programming

Hey all,

I was wondering what exactly I'd need to program for an 8-bit computer? I believe I hav an 800 XE, I'll have to check the exact series. I have a copy of BASIC. I've seen some screens on Ben Heck's site to see what you can do with just BASIC. But what about making a working program or game and making it playable on a Floppy Disk? I feel like a floppy would be the best. Thoughts?

Back your code up too... you wouldn't want to have to restart all over or... as I did.. .atr it and use 0xED on the Mac...
