I don't think there are any emulators available for the 360 yet. The system hasn't been hacked to the extent that the original xbox was. So far I haven't heard anyone doing this on a 360 No homebrew on 360 yet. Xbox does not need linux, it does however need to be modified to run unsigned code with either a mod chip or a bios flash.
