Shannon
For those families who do not have a computer. I'm surprised that nintendo has not tried to partner up with cable companies or something to allow users to subscribe to some type of cable internet service to access with their wii systems. Lord Helmet
For those families who do not have a computer. Who still doesn't have a computer that will be buying a Wii? I would imagine that the number will be small. Who doesn't have a computer anymore?
kisrael
Is the question "who doesn't have a computer" or "who doesn't have wifi"? I'm sure a certain number of people still get along w/ dialup... or am I not understanding the non-Wii-fi options Wii offers?
Lord Helmet
You can buy an usb ethernet adapter if you want to hardwire your Wii to your network, but it isn't availabel until January.
Shannon
You got to be kidding me. I know alot of people who have game systems but no computers. Much less knowing how to set the time on their vcr.
Atari Master
Unfortunately, I'm on dial up. And the thought of updating my firmware scares the piss out of me because I'm afraid to brick my system.
awsomo3000
I'm on dial up. It realy realy blows because I won't be able to enjoy anu on line perks of the wii, and I couldnt enjoy any online perks of Ps2 either, wich truly sucks
figgler
You can buy an usb ethernet adapter if you want to hardwire your Wii to your network, but it isn't availabel until January. It's also compatible with the USB dongle that the released some time back for DS online play. Strangely I haven't been able to get online at all today. No idea what the issue is. The wireless signal is fine and my DS works, but the Wii won't connect for some reason. No clue, but i will check it out again tomorrow

You have to have a broadband connection to get the Wii online.
