AtariChick
I have a 7800 system, and with all my games, ie: pitfall, donkey kong, space invaders, pac man, pole position, etc. I get the occasional lines, snow and fuzzines. It happens more and more each time I play. I've cleaned all the games and the system. I've checked all the wires and still can't figure what is up. Can I get any advice? thanks
ubersaurus
Are you using an RF switchbox? That would probably be the cause.
chrisr
Use a higher quality cable and a high quality a/b switch (the kind that screws or glues to the back of the tv), like the ones the cable company gives you.

eric_ruck
Yeah, you want to go to radio shack and get yourself an RCA F to coax converter. For a switchbox I use this other Radio Shack 3-way coax switcher. The combination works well, I use it on several systems in my collection. Markimus of K.
I finally got around to getting a Phono to F connector and a switchbox from Radio shack yesterday. Say goodbye crappy little RF switch, and hello beautiful Atari picture on my 32" TV. For any of you still using an RF switchbox for anything get yourself one of these adaptors, RS part# 278-276, you'll never go back. As always, Markimus of K. AtariChick
How much did the new switch run you? I think that is exactly what I need......
Markimus of K.
The connector was $5.99 CDN, probably going to cost you $2 or $3 USD.
MacGurl
Ours was really fuzzy too...to where you could barely see the games... For months we had it on the wrong channel.. It sucks being stupid.
bcprs1
I was having the same problem with my 7800. My problem was due to a bad cable though. Once I replaced the cable, my 7800 was as good as new.
