boxpressed
This one is in the mail. I was curious about the Super Charger cart. I did a little poking around and discovered that there was one for A8 and one for ST. The A8 version seemed to be associated with BBS software, and the ST version seemed to be some kind of math co-processor for a game. Anyone know which one this is? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 120846490351
Atari8bitCarts
The super charger cart is used with a couple games, one of which comes with the cartridge 'Assalt Force' by MMP (a diskette).
boxpressed
Right. I saw that thread on AA. Assault Force 3D is an ST game, right? Then I saw the Super Charger on this list, arranged by manufacturer (MPP): http://www.atariage.com/forums/topic/174697-atari-computers-rarity-guide/page__view__findpost__p__2174873 I'm just curious whether the one I'm getting is the A8 or ST version. boxpressed
I misread the Assault Force 3D thread -- I believe that there is only an A8 version of this cart. Mine arrived today. I may have to find the disk and fire it up.

atari8warez
I've just received this: http://www.ebay.ca/i...984.m1439.l2649 A nice virgin (i.e. no upgrades), fully socketed, Hitachi RAM, Made in Hong Kong 800XL for $25 + $20 shipping That's how a nicely built 800XL looks like. I am just wondering why is there a capacitor bridging the SIO ground to the AUDIO-IN pin (filter perhaps?) Almost Rice
It sure is. I bought one from B&C back in the day. It is in my original 800xl. Still have the photocopied cover over white box too. That box has a 1991 copyright date. I believe I got mine in 85 or 86. Would have to dig box up to verify. Mine did not come with plastic shrink though. $39 is a bit would be my upper limit if you really want a version. I would call Best or B&C to check if they still have a copy. If this sells for much more, I would uninstall mine and sell it too. What's this? eBay Auction -- Item Number: 330680623267 Looks like a regular Newell Industries Ram upgrade for the XL's... Atari8bitCarts
I saw one before, then this came up a week or so ago. A game I hadn't seen or played in over 28 years! Moon Shuttle. I had at that time only an Atari 400 with cassette recorder. I bought this on the local campus store and gave the disk to a developer, pretty big at that time, Dan Lawerence. I can't wait to fire it up.

Bloodcat
Well Apshai showed up. And the 1010 promptly ate it. So there is one less 1980 Temple of Apshai cassette in the world. I tried out a normal music tape I had about and it played fine so I don't know what happened... ARGH. I even got out early from work so I could play it.
