Foxsolo2000 Posted December 16, 2006 Share Posted December 16, 2006 I am having a problem with MESS. Today I somehow managed to get my Vectrex games working. I foolishly left the computer and when I got back my 16 month old daughter had been playing with the keys and the Vectrex was off line. I have tried everything, even going through the help link on AtariAge and still the Vectrex part refuses to become available. It keeps coming up "Mess encountered fatal error: The system cannot find the file specified" and before anyone asks yes the Bios is the right one in the Bios file and the roms are genuine and yes I have manually highlighted both source paths. Can anyoen advise me as to what went wrong and how I can possibly fix it? Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
ProperRogue Posted December 19, 2006 Share Posted December 19, 2006 Sometimes when MESS gets all goofy on me , I simply delete ALL the files in the CFG & INI folders , and start from scratch doing the configuration.
