Cruiz'in YouTube November 2013 - "Bubsy 3D is Art"
I was watching Youtube this morning and found an interesting review. What caught my eye was the animation of Bubsy where the reviewer was talking to Bubsy at the beginning of the review and they would have Bubsy shake his head yes or no to responses and have the eyes looking around. I thought that alone was interesting. But when they broke into the game itself, I thought to myself "Ok, did they animate Bubsy 3D for this review?"
You can watch the movie here:
It was a review for Bubsy 3D, but as you can see the game in the review was something very different from the Bubsy 3D that most have come to know and hate.
So I watched this REALLY weird game through the review and towards the end you get this screen:
If you go to ...
.. you get the rest of the story. Apparently this is a web based game that was created in honor of Bubsy's Birthday earlier this year.
"Bubsy's Back! Bubsy 3d: Bubsy visits the James Turrell Retrospective is an web based edutainment experience produced by Arcane Kids. Explore your relationship with art as you guide bubsy through a realistic recreation of the James Turrell Retrospective at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art. After you have played Bubsy3d and understand art a little better, Arcane Kids encourages you to go visit an art museum in your area and quit video games. "
A bit about James Turrell here:

They even made two banners for the occasion:
To Arcane Kids I have say thanks for this bizarre trip to a Museum for Bubsy.
Bubsy is art? Sure, why not. Between Bubsy 3D (original game), and the Bubsy pilot (TV Show) invokes an emotional response from people with comments DAILY. Looks like Bubsy made an impression to many so yes I would agree Bubsy is some kind of art.
