blog-0979361001410561139.jpgAnother request from a video game enthusiast, a TI logo :)

This one was a lot of fun as it had a lot of radius areas on the main logo piece I had to draw in Autocad. I love practicing radius drawings and its tough to do without some kind of end goal in mind. When a forum member asked if I could make a TI sign I couldn't quite remember how the logo looked (I haven't seen a TI-99 in over 20 years, lol) When I saw the main logo area had a lot of radius areas I got to work immediately :)

To be a little more acurate this sign probably should have had a white background but man, the brushed aluminum just makes that red "pop" so much better I couldn't help myself :) Overall I thought this one went pretty well, was fun to stop and think about the old computer days and how big of a deal these machines really were back in our time. Kids these days can laugh about how primitive they are compared to todays beasts but in our day they were a big deal ;) Man, we really did think we had it all figured out back then with our fancy walkmans and such, lol. Just making a simple design like this can really make me think of how lucky I am to have grown up in one of the coolest technology booms in history :)
