THE "INS" AND "OUTS" OF USING A PORTABLE HOLE
About a week ago I showed the first picture of the Portable Hole that was a promotional frisbee toy at the release of Bubsy II. It arrived and I carried it in my bag to work just in case I needed it to jump out of a jam. Luckily the portable hole was not needed. But who am I to hog such a magnificent piece of swag? Here it is...
The Hole comes in a Bubsy 2 bag, which looks much like this...
And comes with a manual. Here are some quick pictures of the manual so that you can enjoy reading this in the typical Bubsy humor.
And of the Hole itself, here is a good shot of the logo:
The Hole folds up in a triangle like this to neatly tuck into the bag:
And if you were wondering who made this bit of swag, here is the tag:
Says:
FLIPPY
MADE IN U.S.A.
PAT NO. 4115946
ASI 95840
That is one thing I would like to do at some point, check the patents out there for "Bubsy Bobcat". But in the meantime, seeing things as they come down the pike and on places like EBay are pretty exciting.
Until next month when we will toast Bubsy's birthday.
