I've had to look in my own family for recruits for players in my Manos sequel. My sister and her boyfriend agreed, but only if I payed them. I talked to my sister over the phone and I told her to ask him if he wanted to be the Master. She said he replied "the Master of what?" which I thought was kind of funny. But I didn't laugh because I think my laugh sounds evil and I didn't want to spoil this. Speechless for an answer, I just said "The Master of Manos," which I think is right since even though they don't really mention the cult's religion's name, it seems like they all agreed to worship Manos. So when we all get together for the fourth of July, I'm going to introduce them to the original Manos movie to see what they agreed to sign up for. I made some music for the first driving scene, and filming is still set to begin this weekend, when my mom and I drive out to the country with my camcorder looking out through the passenger side window for a few minutes, to emulate the original movie. Even though it's a sequel. I've got this all planned out. My sister plays the woman who goes out to the country. I'll play the part of the Torgo/Michael-like character. See, because they killed off Michael after Manos 1 ended. My sister's boyfriend will play the part of the Master, which is cool because he kind of looks like him. I'll have to make a robe for him. Even though the budget is low, I'll still be making this at a money loss because it's just for my own amusement (and possibly theirs.)
