Well, I'm finishing up a Zwieback album. I just had a thought for the name of a song while I was sitting in the bathroom toilet. I do a lot of thinking there. Oddly enough, the song title I thought up was "Margaret Cho Went To the Bathroom On a Siberian Husky." I went and fiddled around with notes on the keyboard, then recorded the song. At the end of the 10 minute masterpiece, I had acid come up my throat and so I kept the part in where I am complaining about having acid come up my throat. A few of my favorite artists are busy recorded or have recorded stuff. A new Nine Inch Nails record is coming out September 3, and a new Beck album is coming out in "the fall", with another, more proper follow-up to 2008's "Modern Guilt." And here I am, making stuff up right and left, just like that. The Zwieback name is a name I gave to my experimental noise band thingy. I aim to have these be about an hour in length, and my third album is now at 41 minutes with 8 tracks. So I have 19 more minutes left. I wonder if I'll finish it in two, three, or four songs? Three would be fitting since the debut album had 11 tracks, and "2" had 10. I am living in the days when bands came out with a new album every other month (like the Beatles did in the '60s). Not so with bands nowadays. We're lucky if they release an album once every other year. So anyway, I update the Zwieback website about once a month with stuff I'm working on and stuff. http://www.atari2600land.com/zwieback/ is the URL in case you want to hear some really odd stuff.
